Anant Ambani is the youngest son of Nita and Mukesh Ambani. According to Bloomberg's Billionaire Index, Mukesh is Asia's richest man, with a net worth of $114 billion.  A gala gala for Anant Ambani and fiancee Radhika Merchant last weekend had a list of billionaires and the ultra-elite.

Celebrities including Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg and Ivanka Trump were part of the three-day celebrations. Over the weekend Rihanna also saw a full concert for the first time in years to an audience of around 1,200 people, with videos of her performance going viral around the world.

Anant Ambani, who heads the energy vertical at his family company Reliance Industries, and Radhika, who works as a marketing director at her family company, Encore Healthcare, were introduced by mutual friends on a fun trip in 2017. What was special during that time? between us, and it wasn't long before we started dating," Radhika tells Vogue.

In 2023, Anant proposed to Radhika at the Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara, Rajasthan, a sacred Hindu site on the banks of the Banas River. After their formal engagement ceremony, they hosted a dinner with their parents, grandparents, and siblings. It was the first of many celebrations: when they returned to Antilla, the Ambani family home in Mumbai, family and friends awaited a surprise engagement party. According to radhika, "It was without a doubt the greatest evening of my life.

Early a year after, Radhika and Anant tossed their now well-known three-day pre-wedding end of the week and hastakshar (a customary Indian prenuptial occasion) at the Ambanis' home in Jamnagar, Gujarat. "Picking Jamnagar was our approach regarding our underlying foundations and the family's inheritance," Radhika says.
